This steam tractor, painted in red and blue, is based on an original vehicle that could be seen on roads in the early 19th century. It was commonly used in agriculture and forestry at the time.
Wilesco Tractor – mobile and stationary operation
The tractor can move forward and backward thanks to a flywheel that can be turned in both directions. The boiler has a diameter of 45 mm and a length of 185 mm, with a capacity of 230 cm³. The polished and nickel-plated brass boiler includes a sight glass water gauge for close inspection of steam operation. It features chain steering and a clutch gearbox. With a disengaged gear drive, it can also be used as a stationary steam engine. The operating time with one load of Wilesco gel fuel is approx. 15 minutes.
