Authentic Replica of the Foden Truck “Mighty Atom”
The D310 model was added to the Wilesco product range in 2013. It is a faithful replica of a steam-powered truck made by the English company Foden, known as the “Mighty Atom.” Between 1896 and 1930, Foden produced steam-powered trucks, each capable of hauling over 3 tons of load. The Mighty Atom was one of these iconic models.
The delicate spoke wheels, wooden flatbed, and gold-printed driver’s cabin are just some of the standout features of this beautiful model. The chassis is marked with the Wilesco logo and model designation.
Powerful Drive Using D405 Components
To ensure strong performance, the D310 is equipped with boiler housing, boiler, cylinder, piston, and steam pipes derived from the D405 model – all painted black especially for this truck. The flywheel has a diameter of 55 mm, and the double-reduction belt drive powers the rear axle.
The truck is delivered fully assembled, ready for operation, and steerable via the front wheel steering system.
